The Patrol Division is comprised of four three member squads, each managed by a patrol sergeant.  The officers on patrol are the agency’s first responders who provide around the clock service 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days of the year.  Patrol officers work in partnership with the community they serve to enhance the quality of life for those who live, visit and work in New Castle. It is this very partnership that makes our community a safe place.  The Operations Captain has command of the patrol division and is responsible for day to day operations.  Each patrol sergeant reports directly to the Operations Captain.
